Hours & Entry Information
- The squash courts and locker rooms can be used daily by USC members, from 6:15am until 9:00pm. All persons must leave the facility by 9:15pm.
- Members can use their key fob to enter the facility through the West 47th Street door.
- Key fobs are for individual use and non-transferrable. Misuse of key fob will result in membership termination.
- If key fobs are lost, notify us immediately. There is a $15 fee for a replacement fob.
- A first aid kit and AED are located in the South facing drawer of the squash platform labeled “AED Inside”.
- Please refrain from opening the door for unknown visitors.
Guest Policies
- Members must have their guest requests approved by a staff member at least 24 hours in advance of the intended time of play. Even if a guest has been approved to play once, they must receive approval from USC each time. All requests can be sent to duncan@urbansquashcleveland.org
- No guests allowed during times when staff members aren’t present in the facility, unless specifically approved.
- All Guests are required to sign the USC waiver and have their Guest Fee paid prior to using our courts.
Building & Court Rules
- Only non-marking, squash shoes that haven’t been worn outside are allowed. No exceptions.
- Squash courts are for squash play only.
- Protective eyewear is required during all squash play.
- Please be sure that the court doors are closed, except when entering/exiting
- Food, drinks, and gum are prohibited on the squash courts.
- Only access to the squash courts and locker room areas is permitted. Cell phone usage is forbidden in the locker rooms.
- In the event of an emergency, please contact a staff member or MetroHealth Police using the contact information posted by the courts.
- Consumption of alcoholic beverages is forbidden, other than during specific USC events.
- When you leave, please ensure that the building is clean and tidy, and that all lights are turned off and the doors are locked.
Booking Courts
- Members and Guests must use ClubLocker EVERY TIME they plan to be on our courts: for drop-ins, lessons, activities and match-play
- All 4 courts are available to members during the hours stated above, with the exception of USC Programming time. USC Programming runs Monday – Friday from 4:00 – 6:15pm and Saturday from 11:00 – 1:30pm.Â
- If you need to borrow squash equipment, please notify Duncan in advance. This option is only available during staffed hours (11-8pm M-TH, F 11-6:30pm, Sat 11am-1pm)
