This year, in lieu of Brunch in the Land, USC will be hosting Cocktails in the Land, a VIP reception on Wednesday, January 14 from 4:30 – 6:00pm at the NEW Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame in the Roundstone Athletic Center! Guests will enjoy catered appetizers, an open bar, and great company, and a chance to tour the museum!
Guests are encouraged to head across the street to USC, where Second Round matches for Squash in the Land will be played from 5:00–8:00pm on USC’s stunning glass court. Beer and wine will be available for reception guests, VIPs, and sponsors during the matches, featuring the best players from around the world.
The Hall of Fame will remain open and staffed from 4:00 – 8:00pm, allowing guests to explore exhibits before and after the reception.
Cocktails in the Land is a fundraising reception celebrating USC’s mission and impact, while also honoring Cleveland’s rich squash history through special recognition of Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame inductees. All proceeds from the Cocktails in the Land support USC’s youth development programming.
