At USC, we consistently reinforce a simple but powerful message: “student” comes first. Our top academic priority is ensuring that every student-athlete completes their homework and shows up to school prepared, confident, and ready to succeed. Beyond the classroom, we also create engaging opportunities for students to build life skills—from healthy eating to financial literacy.
This winter offered several memorable experiences that brought learning to life. Students visited the iconic West Side Market, where they explored nutrition and made connections between smart food choices and overall wellness. Thanks for an invitation from the Parma Snow: Cleveland Public Library, we also had the privilege of meeting author S. A. Cosby, who spoke with our students about his work, answered thoughtful questions, and provided each student with a signed copy of his latest book.
In addition, our student-athletes toured John Carroll University, experiencing campus life firsthand and cheering on the Blue Streaks basketball team—an inspiring glimpse into the opportunities that lie ahead.
These experiences are designed to expand horizons, spark curiosity, and help our students see what’s possible. With your support, we are able to continue providing meaningful enrichment opportunities that complement their academic and athletic growth.
Thank you to all our partner organizations for providing these unique experiences for our student-athletes!
If you have any experiential opportunities for our student-athletes to take advantage of, fee free to reach out to Executive Director Jean Koehler at [email protected].
WE ARE ALWAYS UP FOR A FIELD TRIP!
